In partnership with the Kansas Recreation and Parks Association, HealthyKansas is
hosting four two-day Summits around Kansas during the month of June.
The dates and locations are:
- June 6-7 Johnson Co. Community College, Overland Park
- June 13-14 Ft. Hays State University, Hays
- June 20-21 Garden City Community College, Garden City
- June 27-28 Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg
Friday workshops and presenters will share information about programs and partnerships in the region that help promote healthy choices, and encourage collaboration to build stronger regional networks. Topics will include building healthy schools, legislative health updates, creating workplace wellness programs, and more.
On Saturday, the Summit will become a health fair for the community and region as we share information and engage Kansans to take the HealthyKansas Pledge toward making healthy changes for positive lifetime impacts.
A limited number of exhibition spaces are available for qualifying enterprises to present their products and services on Friday and Saturday. Please consult each site listing for information and application forms.
Seating is limited for each Summit and registration is accepted on a first-come basis with payment.
